The main purpose of EuroTooling 21 is to generate know-how, not only for specific, but for all European tooling enterprises. For the project’s success it is essential to give every interested person access to the gained results, in both industry and scientific community. There are various approaches to share the expertise:
Collaboration with the Project Partners
To obtain information at first hand, companies are welcome to collaborate with the EuroTooling 21 partners either on bilateral level or within R&D projects.
Exhibitions and General Information
For general information project representatives exhibit at trade fairs. Dates and venues can be found on the EuroTooling 21 web site on which continuous updates of project results are available. This brochure is free of charge and can be ordered at the contact address below.
Demonstration Objects
EuroTooling 21 cooperates closely with European, national and regional interest groups and associations. They provide information on the project in general and on prototypes that demonstrate the results achieved within Case Studies and Research Areas.

Workshops and Conferences
The project results are presented at workshops and conferences, for example at the bi-annual Tool and Die Conference in Aachen (Germany) or the Brokerage Event in Marinha Grande (Portugal). Further events are listed on the project web site.
Online Training
On project completion, web-based courses which are centred on the Case Studies will be provided in different languages. These will be available at the national and local industrial associations.
Further Research and Tertiary Education
The results are being incorporated into educational activities whilst the project is on-going in order to establish the value of the expertise acquired. This includes all topics from tool and process design to strategic issues. Major universities, research institutions and research and technology associations at a European or national level (e.g. EARTO, FEDIT) have comitted themselves to imparting the know-how acquired to researchers in the same or in connected fields. To obtain information about the participating institutions please contact the steering bureau.
